Coffee & Climate: Urban Heat & the Power of Trees

On Friday, August 9th from 9am – 10am the One Climate Future Team will be joined by Sheba Brown, Community Science Program Manager at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute and Tatyana Vashchenko of Portland’s Parks and Recreation Department. Together we will discuss urban heat islands research and what is being done to increase our tree canopy in a sustainable way.
