Coffee & Climate: Urban Heat & the Power of Trees

On Friday, August 9th, 2024 the One Climate Future Team was joined by Sheba Brown, Community Science Program Manager at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute and Tatyana Vashchenko of Portland’s Parks and Recreation Department. Together we discussed urban heat islands research and what is being done to increase our tree canopy in a sustainable way.
