We are working to reschedule this topic and speaker for a future date in 2026. \nIn the meantime\, read more about Zach Whitener\, the Senior Research Associate & Vessel Safety Officer at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI). Growing up on Long Island in Casco Bay\, Zach has spent much of his life on the water in the Gulf of Maine. He has lobstered in Casco Bay since the age of 10\, holding several other fishing jobs along the way. He is also a Registered Maine Guide and US Coast Guard licensed captain who owns and operates his own company\, Anadromous Adventures Guide Service LLC\, specializing in fly fishing for striped bass in Casco Bay. His research at GMRI focuses on the challenges that climate change brings to the fisheries in the Gulf of Maine and opportunties to achieve climate resiliency for our fisheries. \nRead our newsletter from that month.
